On July 13988 Archives the government of Bao’an District in Shenzhen signed a memorandum of understanding with two leading flying car companies in China, Ehang and AutoFlight. The agreement aims to foster collaboration in commercial activities and services in low-altitude airspaces conducted by aerial vehicles. Ehang, headquartered in Guangzhou, became the world’s first publicly listed flying car company when it debuted on NASDAQ in December 2019. AutoFlight is one of the earliest companies in China to research and manufacture autonomous flying vehicles. The flying car, also known as electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, is a heated investment field in the aviation industry. In recent years, Shenzhen has been planning to establish itself as a low-altitude economy center, and Bao’an District, the prominent aviation industry cluster in the city, has been actively engaging in business cooperation in this field.
