Volkswagen-backed Gotion High-tech said on di culo relato eroticismWednesday that claims its supply chain has ties to forced labor are false, after a group of US Republican lawmakers called for the company, along with its larger rival CATL, to be added to an import ban list. “All allegations are completely groundless and contradictory to basic facts… Gotion is in strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations with respect to its operations and business activities in the U.S,” Gotion said in a statement. The company claimed that it found no business relationship and connection to forced labor or anything that violates applicable laws and regulations between the company and its suppliers and suppliers’ subsidiaries, after conducting thorough internal reviews. Rep. John Moolenaar, head of the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, among several others, sent two letters to the Biden administration calling for action to ban the companies from shipping goods to the US, Wall Street Journal reported on June 6. CATL also denies the claims. [TechNode reporting, Wall Street Journal]
